Podolski Will Be Better Than RVP

RVP's dribbling isn't great. He's way too static. His touch and control is good yes. Not the same thing though.

Podolski is the better dribbler. His touch, control and technique isn't as good as RVP's but it's solid (good).
Not as skillful.

Sorry RVP doesn't have first rate finishing. He needs 2 to 3 chances to score.
When they go in they look spectacular.

As for powerful left foot. You clearly haven't seen Podolski.

"RVP has great dribbling, top notch technique, immaculate first touch, awareness, great balance, exceptional skill, dangerous passes (defence splitting through balls), first rate finishing, power left foot, as well as an accurate right foot."

A lot of different attributes there. Tell me, what do you mean by technique? Technique when striking a ball? Technique in terms of touch or skill? Because those are attributes you have also listed separately.
Similarly, you talk about his great finishing and passing, but then go on to talk about the accuracy and power of his right and left foot respectively - in what ways other than passing and finishing are his feet accurate?

I can pad out a list for Podolski too if you want?

when in fact all that's technically special about him
is his volleys.
--------------------

Dear me. Are you the guy who said he started watching footie in 2006? Cos that will explain a lot. I guess his touch, control and balance on the turn are no qualities of his. Were you spewing this drivel before RVP stated he wasn't signing a new contract?

Podolski is an average dribbler whose best qualities are more off the ball than on it. RVP turns his markers and evades challenges much better than Podolski does. I bet you,ve not seen 5 games Podolski has played.

Even though that's false.
What has that to do with anything? Stick to the subject.

You're the same guy who claimed Man U play the best football in the league, so spewing rubbish is your speciality.

Apart from RVP's volleys, his technique isn't that exceptional.
He can't dribble either.

RVP's probably Messi-like in your little deluded head.
Moron.

Another baseless comment.

RVP can't dribble. Plain and simple.
Podolski can at the very least skip past a few players here and there.

Idiots like you see a few flicks and tricks, and think that's dribbling.

this thread is a joke right?

ah, you think juvenile insults score you any point. Adds a juvenile streak to your palpable clueless grasp of the sport. How many strikers in the world have better technique than RVP who by your account has average technique other than his volleying.

Clueless doesn't even begin to cover it. Like I said before, were you spewing this twaddle before RVP refused the contract extension?

Well' it was posted by a joker so I guess it is.

StuDogg, why don't you ask Dubbed, because this...

'Dribbling, top notch technique,
immaculate first touch, awareness, great
balance, exceptional skill, dangerous passes
(defence splitting through balls), first rate
finishing, power left foot, as well as an accurate
right foot.'

.. Is a quote from Dubbed from when RVP was an Arsenal player.

Amazing how fickle football fans are, isn't it?

sheriff thanks, for a moment i thought he was being serious

Juvenile this. Juvenile this. On top of being a general tool, you're repetitive to boot as well.

As I said, RVP's technique is good. But he isn't as special as you make him out to be.

Didn't have to search. I know I've read him wax lyrical about RVP before contrary to the drivel he's been spinning recently. Shows either a really fickle person or a 2-faced one with little integrity and conviction in his stated beliefs.

On a serious note, how does that have anything to do with the comparison between Podolski and RVP?

How come when RVP was an Arsenal player, he had first rate finishing, but now he doesn't, Dubbed?

Ruiney, RVP didn't have first rate finishing even when he was at Arsenal. Ask any Arsenal fan and they'll confirm that for you. He can be very wasteful at times.

Well that's what Dubbed said.

RVP's finishing looks spectacular when they go in. But we all knew he misses a lot of sitters.

You going to post quotes from old articles. I can go looking for some of your old quotes too.

Which is exactly why it shouldn't be taken seriously.
