I don't think the OP quite gets the relationship between Everton and Liverpool. There isn't an 'us.'
Sure, it's one of the more friendly rivalries, but I can't see that there is any real concern on either side of the fence for the fortunes of the other team, as much as we make out that a Liverpool defeat is a good weekend for Everton, no matter their result.
So saying a bad weekend for 'us' is either incredibly naive, or a bad WUM attempt imo.
It is not a wum at all.
I have stated on several occasions i like to see both teams win.What is wrong with that??
