Yorkie, He did say at one point "I am determined that when I move on my legacy will be that the club is in safe hands and will take leeds united to the next level", so you can read into that what ever we want

I read it again and it still doesn't look like a takeover to me.
It is interesting. Like most I do not like Bates. But, I do sometimes wonder in our frustration and desperation for great, new owners if we are missing the culprits.
Maybe it is the potential new owners at fault?
Who knows, it does seem easy to blame it all with Bates - Though it usually is his fault.

I reckon Bates has tried to pull wool over the potential new owners eyes, but he was caught out.
I also think he's playing chicken with'em and waiting for them to crack first.
I also believe the PNO's found a few things stuffed in nooks and crannies and Bates doesn't like it as it's possible the PNO's want immunity from anything that might pop out of the woodwork down track.
