Him and Wenger must ave ad some talk. It's bad when Ramsey gets infront of you.

tbf his replacement Ox didn't do anything. He apparently wants to stay at Arsenal, he could have done an RVP but didn't so credit to him for that. Hopefully the competition makes him up his game.

One of the reason we were so solid was because Oxo & Podolski got back time and time again to help out our full-backs!

Walcott does not get back very often & when he does, he is usually pretty useless so I think that's why he wasn't involved today

When Sagna's back it would be less of a risk but Jenko needed the support! Also, to refuse £75k a week when he's a player we can easily replace?

I can see him putting pen to paper very soon when he realizes he is a small fish in a big pond, but with the potential to be top class (as said by Harry Redknap of all people)

Chelsea won't want him anymore as they bought Moses! City bought Sinclair I am sure Liverpool would go for him, but (no disrespect to Liverpool) we are in a much better position atm

A bit bizarre he didn't get 20 mins tho. He should stop being a fool and sign a new deal or just get lost.

he was always at his best as an impact sub

We've had enough players scronging off our club to get over-achieving pay packets.

Walcott doesn't deserve a 1st team game unless he commits to a long term contract or keep him in the reserves till Jan and sell him off to foreign soil where he will be fail & be forgotten... a bit like Steve McManaman/ Owen careers.

I think Wenger used the more defensive option today. He also might not be convinced about the partnership between Jenkinson and Theo.

We didn't need to bring him off the bench, though, did we? Ramsey is better at keeping possession and Santos as crazy as he is provides better defensive cover. If we wanted to rub it in and go for a 3rd Walcott could have been the better option but Wenger wanted the clean sheet, so did I.

Yeh but we were dangerous on the counter and that's when Theo is at his best. We were pushed back deeper when Ramsey came on and if pool ad scored we would have struggled even tho we defended really well.

As I stated in the game thread:

Liverpool were one of the teams after Theo. So sorry there was ZERO chance of Theo playing today. Don't read anything more into it. Arsene is not going to show him off so that he gets bigger offers! He will not start till we have a contract agreement.

Now from what I have heard from an ITK is that we are waiting for Arshavin to go. The Russian market is still open. And Arshavin has one year left anyway, before we come to an agreement with Theo. or We would have sold him. the club are quite sure of Theo. Arsenal do not take £10m gambles.

And we do need Theo. Today if anything, made it obvious that Oxlade is NOT a winger that some in the media make him out to be. We don't have anyone in the squad who can replicate Theo's pace and direct attacking. If Theo had been playing it was likely we would have won by more.

Ox had a fine game, contributed to our passing but had to stay more defensive to protect the vulnerable Jenkinson - a job he did very well indeed.
