He's had an incomplete squad until Saturday with lots of new faces that need to gel together, I think its ludicrous to think we should be winning all three of those games. Sure I hoped we'd have more than 2 points after 3 games, but we're not too far off of last season if you match game for game

Not as silly as some of the articles and posts that think that AVB should be out after 3 games. And what`s with the booing at WHL yesterday. Disgraceful. I was their when the team were relegated more than 30 years back, and they were applauded off the pitch.
Yes completely backing him like i have done from the start. I didn't agree with some of his decisions like constantly playing the useless Livermore and Gallas but i believe he will come good and we need to be patient.

Of course we must support AVB. I will give him as long as he needs (unless we look like getting relegated). I don't agree with changing managers every couple of seasons. All that leads to is a change of players and style and a poor start to the season.
That is what has happened to us this year but given enough time and support from the chairmen and supporters it will work out. Sadly because of the changes I expect this to be a hard long season but if we stick with AVB I am sure the future will be bright.

Like you I have reservations over a few selections, I reckon Adebeyor should be leading the line, not Defoe, who to me is OK from the bench. Caulker, I would like to see get a chance at the back. But I am sure AVB will work all this out for himself, and he has my full support if and until things go really pear shaped, which I do not think will happen.

Im backing him and happy to give him time before I start calling for his head. Ive not seen too much to be annoyed about tbh. Weve started as bad as we ended last, but then we had modric and vdv, so to just be equally bad is an improvement in a weird way.

I wish the people who are lucky enough to get to games also wouldn't boo the team, but as I'm unable to get tickets I am not one to be able to influence that
Leave that **** to our inferior London 'neighbours' I say.
Backing AVB.
Not ideal results (or performances) but doing the bulk of our transfer activity in the last week isn't ideal either when everyone knows that they'll be off for international duty as soon as they arrive, and something tells me AVB doesn't take charge of the transfers...

If its still going wrong come december I'll hold my hands up but it's far too soon to say he's a bad choice. I'm guessing that those who think it is have always been instant hits whenever they've started a new job?
I have faith in avb I have always been a big fan of his and the way he works.
However he seems like he is so confident in his abilities that he will do things his way and the results will eventually follow.
Two weeks in a row he cost us the game by making a negative move and at the moment he is picking players not on form gallas and Livermore prime examples.
10 games in we can fully judge where we are at.
Not a believer in chopping and changing however sometimes you have to. We shall see

That's what I call support. When I go to the lane and we play sheit I just shout louder to give them even more support. After all we are supposed to be supporters and whatever people say I just don't see how booing can be deemed a constructive act.

i agree 100% about the stupid changes, it just invites the other team on and lets them push more players forward, when we are winning late on Bale & Lennion should be able to exploit the spaces
