We played it at Newcastle and it seemed to work really well

Neither goal conceded in that game had anything to do with the high line.
The Newcastle game was arguably the one of three already played where we looked most in control. What we lacked at newcastle was a creative spark and a striker who fitted the system.
Surely the whole point of building a young fast team, and outing the slower older players, is to play a high line and thus a more pressing game?
