My first Cardiff game was versus Spurs in the FA Cup. City won one nil. I was 10They said the crowd was 27000 odd but there were many more than that there. I remember my father parked in the old car park opposite Ninian Park and it was like a battleground after the game. Still i was hooked and have been going ever since

I think back then a lot of clubs fabricated crowd numbers. I saw Wales and Scotland in a WCQ in 1985 and the papers reported the crowd as 39,000. What a load of rubbish . The Bob Bank and Grange were rammed. There must have been 15000 sweaty socks came down. Great night, dissapointing outcome.

My first game was against Oxford Utd, think it was about 1969, 0-0 I was about 11 then? My uncle a big Spurs fan came down from London and decided that I should go and watch a proper game of Football. We stood underneath the stand next to the dug outs, I remember looking to my right where all the noise was coming from(the Grange end ) and thinking one day I,m going go in there. Well that day soon came, I used to love jumping up and down on them old wooden planks they used to vibrate like hell as we went from top to bottom and back again sometimes my feet weren,t even on the floor!! Great times, great ground still my No1 football team.

My first game was Cardiff City v Birmingham City in January 1970 - I was 9 years old & my shchool friend Philip Morris & me paid just a few Shillings (I think) to get in. The game finished 3-1 to Cardiff City.

I remember the game well, tho' had to check up on the year. Great Peter sayer goal.
There were a number of unhappy Spurs fans who saw fit to pick up stones from the rough car park and throw them into the exiting CCFC fans. I have only forgiven them since harry Rednap became manager
