I wouldn't bother trying to get her back. If she can't live without your full attention for 90 minutes i don't think something is right.

Forget her, if she don't know football comes before malls then she isn't worth knowing.

This.
the mall is open all day, sundays too.
she was testing your feelings for her, and clearly you failed,
no big loss.
Imagine all the money you will save, now you can go watch a few matches
i have this argument on a regular basis with the missus - its just women in general - don't try to understand their logic or you will go bonkers!
I usually leave them if they don't watch the match with me. Which is why I'm single.

Excuse me! But you guys just chose the wrong women, there are loads of hot women football supporters (especially at Arsenal)
you don't need women you have us
w/\nk w/\nk w/\nk money in the bank.

Whether there is a game or not, following your girl for shopping is a thing only pansies do.

My missus plays for a team but still during the week so likes to head out a the weekends and shop - she is learning to not suggest i go shopping with her at weekends
as gawasoldier1984, there is no point in trying to understand the logic. Me and the mrs were invited to a friend's party that started at 15:00 yesterday, I obviously said we'd go after the game, I mean, the party went on till late evening, the game would finish by half 3, happy days.
I was wrong, as obviously this was an example of 'me putting football before her' as being an hour or so late to a casual party so I can watch the the match is completely irrational.

i gave up a long time ago trying to understand - you wont work it out.
I have had similar experiences to you - one thing i don't understand is that if a match kicks off at 7.45 she thinks i should only want to switch it over about a min before kick off.
Here the thing guys, if a woman wants to be with you at a time you rather be elsewhere and you give in to here and give her your weak presence where she can feel the resentment of having forced you, then both of you are HUGE losers. You did the right thing mate, move on and get another bird.

Don't get me started, what gets me riled is when if we have a clash, only watching the first half is a 'fair compromise'
Fortunately I'm able to go to most home games so I only have this problem with away games. I've just bought an Ipad with SKY go now actually, which was a great investment. Even if we are out, as long as I can find Wifi, I've got the match
Maybe you should have taken her with you?
Although be careful how you ask a girl to go to a match at the Emirates.
"Mind if i take you up the Arsenal today?"
