a left back and centre half with pace would do,but nobody from QPR there worse than us.
Rules seem a bit more generous than the PL:
- maximum four loan players from any single club
- maximum five loan players named on the team sheet for a league match
- otherwise, you can apparently do what you like
Where do we start? Decent full back and centre backs def required. Midfield not too bad now we have Spearing. Up front..someone who can spot an eye for goal. Breaks my heart that we still rely on SKD

Thanks for info...any idea how Watford managed to sign 10 loan players from Udinese (plus 4 from other clubs) before deadline day?
Udinese and Watford are owned by the same family. So imagine they are classing them as permanent signings on short term contracts. In effect Watford are just a nursery club for Udinese.
Ah, sorry, I should have said: the four-player limit only applies to clubs in the English pyramid. So if we could somehow borrow Barcelona for a week, that would be fine!
LIUK - You'll prob find now that David Ngog is injury free that he starts in place of SKD against Watford and scored too!
That didn't work at all.....

I got the impression on Saturday that the Chungy/Mears right side looked solid, so my focus would be on either a replacement for Eagle/Petrov, who like Matty Talyor has the ability to cover and protect our left side, or a left sided midfielder who could replace Eagle/Petrov and shaw-up the gapping hole.
A centre back?
Is Matt Mills not working out for you?
Replace Petrov on the left with a winger who does track back and tackle. Sort out the Centre Back situation which is woefully bad.
Mainly anyone who can add some bite into our play and lift the lads heads on the field. I'd still see if we can't get NRC back in on a short term deal as well.

Err. Petrov hasn't played a league game since Burnley so how does that work then????
jobyfox ,mills is no better than we have already,on the plus side he's 10 yrs younger than knight,so hopefully he will improve.
Hard make heads or tails of it at the moment. We still haven't seen Wylde, Eaves, Riley and not much of Alonso....plus not really seen an Ngog/Sordell up front yet. We have Holden & Wheater still to come back.
Pratts was supposedly great for Swansea in this same division.....yet for us....nowt.
I think we should loan more midfielders if possible....the current ones are not hacking it IMO.
