Some of our games do go to general which doesn't bother me, we tend to have a decent away following I would say. Better than most.
---------------------------------------------
I'm in no way knocking your away support btw. That's why I said I found it really surprising that for some games you're able to get tickets with just a membership.
ive always found spurs to be if not the best away fans at OT then certainly up there, excluding the nutters from besiktas of course they were unbelievable
Its a mexixan rave, why are we so good? Loud?
loud, constant singing, good spirits
tottenham's away support is arguably the best in the country, after our own. in terms of numbers, repertoire of songs, and the overall quality of the songs sung, they are hard to knock.

God I feel like this is abit of a love in, but I'd share those comments about United when they come to WHL. Always excellent. Spose constantly beating us helps
the fact that white hart lane is one of the few remaining 'proper' grounds in the division helps, i think. please don't follow your neighbors by moving into a soulless new stadium.
This will make you laugh Spurs fans...
I live like 10 metres from the Emirates (literally) and on match days I can hear the fans cheer when there's a goal, which to be fair is pretty loud but other than that you'd never know a game was going on
although i remember my dad telling me about a time he went to WHL in the late 70's with a utd supporting mate to see spurs v utd and the utd fans were in the bottom tier and one paricularly rowdy spurs fan was leaning over giving it the big un' sadly for him he reached over too far on one occasion and a forest of hands swallowed him up, he was never seen again

How was your luck in the ballot for Liverpool?

No point going to united mate , even if we play better and should win, ref will inevitably lose it for us.
......
Or we'll just smash you like last season.

Eh? We have loud away fans but our repertoire of songs is awful. Shame as we have loads of songs but only sing about 4 ever. Who wants to listen/sing oh when the spurs 5 times a game? Not me.
as expected, unsuccessful. not that bothered to be honest. it's a rubbish away when you consider the police escort to and from the ground and being kept in after the match. how did you get on, mate?
ole, ive only been to anfailed once and i'd never do it again, its a horrible place full of horrible people
Chubbed as well unsurprisingly.
I probably would've rather had gone to Southampton at the weekend there instead of Liverpool tbh.
I get a mate to apply for me with his and his dad's STs. He's going to keep applying for me until I eventually get one which could be bloody seasons from now with the luck some people get. Any away game would do me.
Desperate to get to what would be my first.
daddy chronic - in my experience, your away support usually aren't like that, and tend to be more inventive. you were decent at the league cup final in 08-09 as well, and didn't moan about defeat afterwards, unlike villa fans the year later.
i like anfield. i love old fashioned grounds and i admire the fact that it's surrounded by houses. it's just the police escort to and from lime street and being unnecessarily kept in the ground after the game, which puts me off.
yeah, southampton was a good day out. carnage at the end with the two goals, literally bodies everywhere. made the long journey home a lot more bearable as well.
my last away game was blackburn last season, when valencia scored it was incredible we thought we'd all but sewn up the league, oh how wrong we were
Chronic, do you agree with my post above?
The reason united fans love us so much is because they always turn us over, atleast admit it boys.
It was pandemonium after the 3rd goal.
The one away game I hope to go to this season is Stoke in April, but demand for tickets will be really high for that one being so close to the end of the season and it could be moved if us or Stoke manage to get to the FA Cup semi-final.
Don, plus we both hate Arsenal!
Fortunately I am of the age when I can remember Spurs putting five past United at Old Trafford, winning 5-1, a couple of years later also beating them 6-2 at WHL. It is only since the prem era when Spurs have been so dire against United. Previous to that it was pretty even stevens.
