Hoijberg did very well overall. You noticed the difference between him and Skipp.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You mean Sarr?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hoijberg has barely played this season and came in to replace Bissouma with has been key to our success. I thought he played as well as could be expected.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok yeah I agree. I just don't get what that's got to do with Skipp
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because by comparison Skipp looked awful. Given he's been in a similar situation to Hoijberg I think it shows Hoijberg can be trusted to cone in and skipp can't

I like Kulu and I don't want to drop him or anything. He keeps showing us glimpses of the player he can be which is fine. Just needs to keep improving. The same can be said of Richy, although I don't think his ceiling will ever be that high, or high enough for us.

Kulu has overall been good this season, was quality against Luton when we were down to 10 men and I thought looked good tonight other than being annoyingly shot shy. In the latter stages of games he has the ability to hold the ball up and make it stick to him, which massively relieves the pressure - which is undoubtedly why Ange prefers to leave him on over Son who is vital and has had injury issues lately, and Richi who lacks quality.

Problem tonight there was a massive drop off in quality once Skipp came on. Tries hard, but he is never going to be at the required standard. Sarr even in his first full season is light years ahead of Skipp.

Kane dealt with them last season. We don’t have anyone that clinical in the team now. You know exactly what Woy will do - just what Sheff U and Luton did. Except Palace have better quality attackers to hurt us at the other end when our huffing and puffing starts to falter. Think this will be a tough game myself.

Thats because we had a combination of PEH and Skipp in midfield and we had already learned from last season that its a crap combination.
Neither of them is good enough with the ball let alone both of them being on the pitch together.
We go again
Big ask playing again so soon since the last game was only 4 days ago but I guess it’s what the teams in CL/EL do most weeks.
Potential banana skin as Roy will set them up defensively but they are missing a couple of their creative players.
