We played and passed the ball in slow motion. The result hurts but the performance actually hurts more. Its the craaap I have been watching for the past 4 years.

People are harshly going in on Ange but we knew the consequences after what happened against Chelsea. Only so much you can do with shiiitty players.

it's no surprise that the turdd that stank out last season is still about and when called up on still leave a shat stain in the y fronts.

Dier , PEH , Lo Celso , Skipp , Davies who has been a brilliant servant , all should have been out of the door along with that fat fack Ndombele .

Tempted to zone out of Spurs this season until Madders and VDV come back.

Oh well.... horrible game, horrible team we had to field, tough loss.... i fear there's gonna be a few more to come in the next 6-8 weeks

Said it the other day, January is important but sadly it's the wrong window to do too much.

I fear making any kind of european football is gonna be a struggle.... The squad simply isn't deep enough.

Think we have to be realistic... there's no point having any lofty ambitions under Ange has had at least 2 summer windows

Can't get too down about today. I suspect Spurs will be outside the top 4 by the time we get madders and vDV back and the window opens

Cherry on the cake ... Biss suspended for villa

These are games where your supposed better players like Son and Kulu are supposed to step up. Both were dreadful.

He's trying to give players who we'll probably need to rely on some game time. It was just unfortunate we conceded 2 right at the end, but we could have conceded them earlier than that before the subs.

Vicario - not much to do really other than pick the ball out. 6/10

Porro - needs to pick his moments as he keeps overcommitting and risking counters but I like his ethic and pace. 6

Dier - bad fit and poor distribution. Way past his sell-by date. 5

Davies - took forever on the ball, not strong fast or clever enough to play CB. Couple of decent blocks saved him from a worse mark. 5

Emerson - couple of decent clearances but out of position a lot. 5

Bissouma - not one of his better games, and facking suspended again. 5

Hojbjerg - same old. Lots of huff and puff but so little quality. 5

Sarr - ineffective played that high up. 5

Kulusevksi - familiar story. Lots of effort but just not quick or tricky enough to play on the wing. Nice ball for the goal. 5

Johnson - lots of effort and speed, good run & finish. Shame he can't last the full ninety. 6

Son - invisible, weirdly petulant at the finish. 4

Bentancur - this is why he's not starting yet. Been saying for months it'll take a long time for him to get his best back. Looked leggy, way off match awareness and weight of pass all wrong. Could've been sent off too. Kept showing for the ball as he tries to find his touch but a poor display. 4

Gil - truly one of Spurs' worst ever signings. Absolutely pointless. I've never understood the hype. At all. Seemed almost annoyed he kept being easily tackled. 3

Lo Celso - drew a few fouls and a decent strike well saved. Pretty ineffectual. 5
