I missed the glory days but had some cup moments in the 90s and early 2000s.

There’s really no excuse not to especially as we have no Europe.

Hate to be a kill joy but IF we beat Burnley in the 3rd round? the next round is on the weekend of the 27th Jan. Sarr, Biss and Son will away. No guarantee on Madders, VDV and Bents either.

We will need to loan a midfielder if possible to pick up the slack otherwise it will be

Kulu Richy BJ or something similar.

It might be something like the above when we face Utd at OT on the 14th Jan unless we buy early.

Need an easy draw IF we beat Burnley

There’s never been an excuse not to - yet we always find one.

We will have no Biss, Sarr or Son for Burnley and chances are Maddison, VDV and Bentancur won’t be back either. So we will already be going into that game with a banged up side - terrified he will also try and rest a couple, otherwise the strongest side we could put out is arguably:

Porro Romero Davies Udogie
PEH Skipp Lo Celso
Kulu Richy Johnson

Imagine if he rests a couple of them on top!!!

Hopefully Burnley sack it off but even then we will have a tricky time

Thanks, looks like I’m getting my international dates mixed up - but yes Ange will have his hands tied to a degree and incredibly reliant on getting a home draw against a non Prem side

Son won’t be here for Burnley game as jurgen has said he’ll be joining up on jan 2nd.
