He's great at giving out 'hard man' verbals and death stares to his team mates, and also great at bottling every physical or slightly dangerous challenge with an opponent.

He should have been all over that ball at the end that led to their second goal. Just seemed like a half hearted attempt. He looks more flappy during set pieces too, though really if you're conceding that many set pieces you're asking for trouble. The way we managed the game from that perspective was terrible. Even let a ball run out of play for a corner when we could have kicked it out.

The other thing is our position gives us hopes as usual. If we are honest did you expect us to be 3rd or 4th in Feb. Not me and would have said between 6th and 8th.

So it’s perspectives I guess. We are doing better than most of us thought we would. But that’s what’s makes us crave better… vicious circle

Hojbjerg offers zero protection for the back four, he isn`t mobile or fit enough to get around the pitch for 100 minutes.

Defending starts at the front and we don`t always press aggressively enough to keep the ball away from our box

PEH stopped them scoring in one of their best chances of the game

There are lots of problems for sure, the alarming thing is that our press is so disjointed.. they arent cohesive when they go to press the opposition back four, do it as individuals and it's easy to play around. We pinned teams in early season and just can't seem to apply that pressure. I expect that will improve when mads, bissouma and sarr are back together in midfield. Not sure Werner and Johnson have the intelligence to press effectively.

Johnson for me, not good enought, I can't say he's even a let down he's playing at his level and he's not good enough. Very lightweight, no end product, poor in the air, poor on the press. Look at the way he lost his marker at back post for first goal, really bad, he's like a boy playing a man's game.

The few mins before the goal Richy hold up play was awful

Yeah, he had a good game but at the end there and i think it lead to the free kick they equalised from? he was losing the ball cheaply making the wrong decisions. Should he have still been on the pitch though? Fresh legs with fresh instructions could maybe have helped out more.

Still him and VDV were the only players who had good games, probably inc both teams.

Lets not forget Oliver did us no favours today, their first goal resulted from Vicario being obstructed / shoved out of the way and Godfrey was let off a second yellow for a blatant dive.

It is fine margins and it`s a different game if the officials do their jobs properly.

He intentionally obstructed the goalkeeper with no eyes on the ball, if he doesnt back into him then Vicario catches or punches the ball, it was a foul plain and simple and much more of a free kick than many of the penalties we see certain clubs given.
