Something I noticed today, as exciting as throwing players forward can be, there is just as much anxiety about teams getting in at the other end. Imagine doing this in the champions league ??

Tactics needed adapting today.. and no changes were made. Davies and royal aren't not like for like with who they replaced so how can they be expected to play the same way.

Certainly feels our games are a dice roll at the moment.

The worst thing for me was that throughout the game, no matter whether the momentum was with us or not, it was them who were constantly creating the best chances. We looked predictable and really played into their hands.

I get he might have a bit of a hangover from the Asian cup but that was a shocking performance. Big mistake from Ange keeping him on. I know he's capable of brilliance but it's clear today he had nothing to offer.

Plan B isnt simply "kicking it facking long" like most people think.

Its changing your tactics, like against Brighton, to pull the wingers further back and push the 8s to run past the back line. Its like the Burnley game earlier in the season when we used Porro to launch the ball forward early to simulate counter attacks etc etc.

Its nuance, its intricacies.

I suppose this is all part of Ange instilling a philosophy, whether or not all this will ever bear fruit only time will tell, but it is probably unlikely working for Levy
