Yeah, I think fourth as well. Not that I think we’ll finish strongly, but Villa’s lack of depth is showing and they are stuttering.

We was excellent for 70 mins of the game.
Problem we have is when we concede we have a big wobble and was glad half time came along.

Our midfield lost the plot. Second half substitutions showed the difference!
We should have gotten 4.
But they should have had 2, so evened out.
We still look too open at times. Too casual.
If you watch their goal Udogie fails to follow the run, but Bissouma in the middle jogs back. He didn't see a
Or sense the very obvious danger. Too casual.
If we are going to play this very front foot approach, then there needs to be 100% effort defensively.
Not the first time Bissouma has been less than full effort. He's having a poor second half of the season.

That SPurs have made 220m losses over 3 seasons but that is largely down to the the depreciation of our stadium which amounts to about £70m a year. That is only a paper loss. Actually our operating profit is about £130m before you take player trading into account, which is about £110m net. SO really, and for FFP purposes, Spurs are making a shiiiit ton of cash and comfortably breaking even at the current level of spending.
Going forward we have the Kane money which will be about £90m of pure profit into the 23/24 accounts, sn Winks adding another £10m but our other sales have not see profit (Sanchez at £10m) so our amortisation levels will stay level before factoring new deals this year which amount to about £200m gross, or £40m a year amortisation.
I would say that we do need to start to shift some of the amortisation off our books - NDombele £10m, GLC £7m Reguilon £6m, Sess £5m are probably the priorities. PEH will be costing us little (£3m) and the likes of Dier and Davies will be peanuts as we've had them so long. Shifting that lot frees up about £33m in amortised costs, which is equivalent of spending £165m on transfers.
