The first 10 games this season, Vicario made saves he had no right to and Maddison was on fire.

I think, this may have been the route cause as opposed to any brilliant coaching. As others have said, take everyone's first ten games away, we're bottom half.

Dunno why... we have barely played any games this season.... no europe and no cup runs... probably the fewest games most of the team have ever played in one season

Whoever sanctioned this should be held accountable. 50m for a player that is clearly not even champions league standard is a disgrace. And we do this repeatedly - N’Dombele, Lo Celso, Davinson Sanchez to name a few. Who is signing off on these purchases???
