We also drew 3-3 at their place with Davies and Royal at CB - we have weird hex over them at times
I don't give a f#@k who wins the league but I would be really p#&sed off if I thought spurs were not trying to win a game they are playing in
I’m worried we don’t have a proper Spurs man out there tonight to explain why we simply cannot get anything from this game - we need a Ledley, Mabbutt, Robert’s explaining what’s what.
Imagine roles were reversed, what do you reckon Donkey Adam’s would be telling the Gooners.

Think about what they’ll do to our defenceš¤£

Yep, I would have said a routine win, but there’s such a weird vibe around it all now, something bonkers could happen!
Given what Ange has been saying and the players do roll over or not show effort. Do we think the stadium could get a bit lively because of it.

We’re in desperate need of one but they don’t make characters like that anymore. We lost some of that when Kane went.
United miss it as well, that team of the 90’s, yes they had loads of great players, but loads were club men as well which meant they always got that little bit more - these days they have streaky Rashford and that’s it

Utd defo miss it more than most. That 90's team had 7 or 8 captain's in the first team.
I'm a firm believer that those sort of chars in the team are a catalyst for the team to give more...an extra 10% is normally banded about. There's got to be something in that and all the old school players/pundits mention this now and then.
Maybe the makeup players is not such these days. Society in general has become very weak so more likely stems from that

I think it’s been a huge problem with our transfers pre Paratici - mental make up. I would rather have a slightly inferior player skill wise who has a winners mentality. Graham Robert’s was a decent player, but there were many better, he made up for it in blood sweat and tears though.

We lack leaders no doubt. But you mention Roberts, imo he isn’t half the player Romero is. Like Roberts only ever got 6 caps in a poor England team.
I think what many fail to recognise when thinking back to the past. Is that football across the world has massively improved in terms of technical qualities with less varying levels of quality. Fine margins separate the best from the very best. Obviously you will always have clubs like City or Madrid that just snap up any of the best players.

To me and what I probably mean is you could see what it meant to players in the past and their desire and effort was obvious in games.
The current crop and players of recent years seem to lack that desire, effort, passion and it shows. They also throw the towel in so very easily.

I will never forget the Leicester season never seen a fairytale have such help.
Chelsea turning up against us. Swansea their manager Guidolin saying that he did not mind losing against Leicester as Ranieri is his mate. Sky moving our games until after Leicester played.
Nobody will remember fourth or fifth place but they will remember Arsenal winning the league and their fans will always laud us helping them. It simply cannot happen.
I am actually not concerned tonight as im certain Big Ange hasnt got a clue even Burnley gave us a game at the weekend.
