yeah sorry that's what I meant, he's the best we have at holding the ball up, and his creativity works better further up the pitch.

even with VAR you never know, thats the whole argument for scrapping it right? those making the VAR decisions still get it wrong and inconsistency

I mean I'd prefer the goal not to be given against us. But I'd accept the referee making the decision in real time.

There are no good reasons for keeping VAR. Killing football one game at a time.

After this performance so far, I think we can all agree we are going to win the league next season

So in theory VAR would work if you have a compentent refs in the booth. They need replacing not the VAR process. Easy for the on field ref to miss that (even though he was in line with it).

Just saw the goal, keeper error and it’s a handball with rules right? Even though it’s accidental an in natural position

I genuinely think with a handball like that, the player should highlight it was handball. I know alot won't agree but players can't ask for refs to always get it right yet never admit when something has happened.
