Werner is shot of all confidence …..needs a goal off the bench but he should have been the experienced head tonight but he was awful

Thought gray was excellent overall…..the one back heal he made where he waited for an option …pure class

We have a gem there

Bergvall…someone summed up perfectly….a bit too confident but I like he always shows for the ball

I thought Bergvall was straight up rubbish tonight. Definitely a talent but it seemed like almost everything he tried gave the ball away.

After playing the full game tonight I can Ange wrapping Moore in cotton wool for Sunday. There are plenty of games to come so no point in burning the lad out. He did look quite leggy in the closing stages tonight.

Maybe Son will fit for Sunday?

Id still play Werner on Sunday even though I am fully aware of his insane limitations

Yeah him and Moore I was looking forward to seeing the most but Bergvall dissapointed

If sons out on sun is odobert still out. If so I guess we could start with Werner if Ange wants protect Moore but maybe give him second half if Werner is meh in the first.

Can’t believe he is 28…..he should be in his prime but is regressing rapidly

I cling to small hope it’s a confidence thing but did anyone think he would bury that one on one ….me neither

In no way is he ready for senior football at our level. He is constantly looking but positioning is actually really poor. Needs to be demoted to under 21s sadly. Well off the pace which is to be expected.

Werner and Davies struggling against a team of this level must replace them in january. I thought it was real unfair to gray to play out of position because Davies legs have gone. Gray did excellant.

haha i am relaxed mate. It is all good, i am just concerned for his development.

Happy with him constantly looking for space, his head does not drop which is positive but he is not up to the pace or the level we need.

Gray either had to play out of position RB out of position CB or out of position LB.

With the options we had in the back 4, playing 2 players in their position rather than 3 players out of position makes more sense.

He did well.

He just has no confidence at all in front of goal. I don't really get it. And for some reason I just really like him and want him to do well.

One irony is I think Werner would have been at the back post late on for that ball where Moore was on his heels.

thought Gray did great playing out of position… think he’s a super talent… Should get lots game time tho season.

Moore showed his more than good enough to be Son’s back up ahead of Werner (looked disinterested and is a woeful finisher)

Wonder IF we progress to the knockouts will Ange play Spence in prem and save Udogje for Thursdays?

Or if Spence can be included in the squad after the Jan window?
