We only have 1 top quality one.

A couple of young prospects & Werner.

100% we should’ve signed a top quality option in the summer.

It's bloody obvious why he was signed. We don't have 60m to throw at a finished product, the priority was Fwd and midfield and as you point out we have 17 year old , YES 17!!!! Moore coming though. Any one with a brain knows that you don't throw kids in and pile responsibility on them. Also we don't want to spend 60m on a player who will genuinely bock Moores path.

Anyway. Not arguing. I agree with the rest of your comment Devonshire - Werner was only supposed to the third choice at lw. But the reality of Son's injuries and signing another teenager to apparently be ahead of him meant he was always likely to play a fair bit.

And tbf if we had signed Neto he'd almost certainly be injured by now anyway so probably not much would be different

Yeah agreed, but suddenly having either Werner or Odebert as bench options seems really good.

Odobert not the bench. Werner and Richy are our only forward options. No Spence either.

I said Werner was taking minutes from Moore and this just proves it. Roughly a quarter of a way into the season and Moore has surpassed Werner now.

I’ve no doubt about this kids future, looks the business to me
