Yeah I keep hoping he will turn it on again but it looks less and less likely now.

I really want the Ange thing to work. But has he done enough to warrant backing in Jan? I’m not sure he has. But if we don’t spend then this season just fizzles out to being one of our worst of recent memory

Why do our full backs never stop crosses? They give open invitations most of the time.

Nope. He just doesn’t suit the system. Ange’s wingers are supposed to hug the touchline and hit the outside, like Werner does. He’s not encouraged to utilise that ability to cut inside. Plus Udogie clogs up that space by inverting his runs. He needs more overlaps to create space.
