It would be funny if Spurs win the league cup and finish 17th and Man Utd win FA cup and finish 16th and play each other in the Europa League final for a CL spot and a european trophy and super cup qualification.

It's funny the amount of vitriol after this one cos it was actually a tight game and they're better than us anyway. They scored a scu mmy goal off a non corner. Ange made changes that made it much better after the first half.

I get being all sad about the league position but acting like this game was awful and a reason to sack him is silly

Did you watch the game?

We lost 2-1 but we were awful. But then again we always are

We’ll be 14th tomorrow after two seasons under Ange. Overreacting? I don’t think so.

I watched the game yes. It wouldn't have been shocking if it ended 2-2. Like I say, I get the Ange out arguments but this performance and result wasn't a sacking one

It was tighter because they couldn't finish good chances off. They were getting in some very decent positions in the second half, while we barely tested them.

I thought they were supposed to be a Stoke type team? Yet they sufficiently out-attacked us.

Arsenal have beat us 5 of last 6. Their season was about to collapse and we’ve got it back on track again. Last few seasons where they have gone for the league we aint been able to stop them at all. These players got no fight

Yeah I'm not saying it was great chaps. But if you really expected us to go out and win that and because we didn't you're furious, you need your head seeing to

Yes it was. We couldn't have moaned if it finished 7-2. We were battered. But then again we always are. Tamworth even took us to extra time. TAMWORTH

Stoke type team

I thought we defended quite well overall but the usual gift wrapped goal and a refereeing mistake cost us.

Woolwich have some proper leaders with the right mentality, some proper tough defenders and tough midfielders who saw the game out with ease for them.

Our whole club has the wrong mentality from the top down, which makes a huge difference.

2-1 flattered us tonight, that should have been 4 or 5

It’s staggering the backing this manager is getting, absolutely staggering. We’re behind some pony teams, but because we’re taking 1-0 lead to Anfield people want to keep this guy.

We are in trouble. Sleepwalking into a relegation fight and the clubs below and around us have started winning it.

There is always a team that gets sucked in. We are that team. The sooner absolutely everybody wakes up to that fact the better

It’s not the result it’s the performance, the stupid goals, it’s not having a set piece coach or any training.

It’s all so faaacking predictable and annoying.

We’ll get a schitt draw at Everton and the happy clappers will be banging the Ange drum again. He should have been sacked weeks ago

Levy must be going softer in his old age. You look at our league form and it's shocking. 1 win in 9 and 6 losses and that solitary win is going to be to one of the worst PL teams of all time.

Especially when Ange said last year that we’d be better this year with more games to gain momentum. It’s been a disaster. I feel like Levy is learning his lesson about being trigger happy but with the wrong man.

posted 4 hours, 55 minutes ago

It's so frustrating, the results certainly speak for themselves, injuries aside we had a poor 2nd half to last season with no cups and most players fit.

I don't trust the decisions he makes and I'm not convinced he has the club's interests over his ego most of the time.

Listening to rice - "we could have had 10". Not the first time we've heard that this season. Liverpool could have had double figures.

Porro - I just don't get it honestly, I'm a stuck record on this but he's a loonatic. How many times does he charge forward at the wrong moment and cost us. It's just embarrassing.

And the injury excuse feels like it has dried up now. Even with injuries you cannot legislate for us poor form. It should still be possible to get more draws at least. I mean Arsenal were supposed to be suffering a bit of a crisis before tonight.
