The thing with Holtby was, I thought his positioning was appalling. Had a lot of good traits but was moving about so much he was almost like how under 10 year olds play football, always chase the ball. Think he could be a good player though, and its only a loan?

His debut was about 18 months ago. And since then he has done precisely what? We have had three managers in that time and none of them have seen a role for him in the team. He couldn't get into the Fulham team that got relegated for goodness sake. You make it sound like Bale has gone again.

I think most intelligent fans are pretty level headed.
