We should look to counter attack today, but would the crowd be happy with that and not moan doubt it!!

That'll depend on how we play Chronic. Expect a lot of the usual groans from fans if we play like we have been.

It'd be nice to play well in a first half for a change.

I hope we can moan about the fans on here after we win

We most definitely need width today, with the way Everton like their full backs to get forward. They'll run us ragged if Lamela and Eriksen drift into the middle.

I would play Lennon today

Spurtle

Front 4 for should be

Lennon Eriksen Chadli
>>>>>> Kane

Now I don't really rate kane as a lone striker but for today I'd play him there so we can get lennon on the right

Not bad Hengy. Who would your midfield partnership be?

That's a hard one tbh but prob stambouli & Mason

Would tell Stambouli not be further than a few yards in front on the CBs though

I was thinking Bentaleb, but Stambouli might be better since he just scored, and could do us good not to make too many changes from last game.

Mason is pretty much a cert these days.

Thought bentaleb played alright on Thursday

We can't play Kane up top on his own so maybe we should drop him just behind soldado that way we can have slightly better balance in midfield with Kane dropping back.

For the occasional nice flicks and link up play, Soldado keeps blowing good chances. It doesn't seem fair that someone else misses out because we're giving Soldado a place in the team.

Then drop who Eriksen potential match winner, Chadli potential match winner or lennon much needed width and someone who can help the RB out?

aslong as poch dosent draft the terrible foursome back into the fold we should be fine ( Adebayor, rose, capoue and Kaboul ) ... Big rumours that the 3 of Ade, capoue and Kaboul have caused a rift within the camp and are being dropped for this reason. Not that its a bad thing because all 3 have been our worse performers this season. Think our defence are incredibly weak as we all know so can't see them being able to contain Lukaku but we will see. 3-1 Everton

Exactly Hengy. I'd be tempted to try Soldado in a number 10 role to see how he does, but the truth he just doesn't deserve to be starting.

--------- Stanbouli Eriksen----------

Not sure chadli will play maybe fit enough for the bench. Harsh maybe on mason but his better performances have been away from home

Don I don't know if I want that to be true or not. On the one hand it should speed up their departures, and on the other it's not exactly great for the team, and doesn't say much for Poch's decision to make Kaboul captain.

posted on 30/11/14

Spurtle, personally think maybe it's the best thing that's happened to us this rift because maybe certain players realise how s. Hite the likes of Kaboul, ade etc have been and this has made poch seen the light. I honestly feel playing Kaboul at centre back all season will ruin any small chance we have of achieving something as he's that poor. Davies I hope now keeps his place at left back. We have Walker on the way back and hopefully Spurs purchase a decent centre back In Jan and things might start to look a bit better.

Don, let's hope the rumour is true then. Even if it's not I'm hoping Poch has the sense to see past these players who have obviously been awful regardless.

I still want another attacker more than another CB though.

Fair dos, don't particularly rate Eriksen there against a top team, okay against the lower teams though

I'm looking at the city game and although it's obvious but still you can see Kompany is on a different Galaxy to Kaboul. Reason I compare is because both are captains and both supposedly are our rocks. Whilst city have a superb leader and brilliant defender in Kompany we have a 6ft plus donkey who can't defend, can't lead and can't captain.

Yea but kompany is one of the best CBs in the world, plays for the PL champions and costs them over 150k a week!

You could say every player in the city team is on a different Galaxy to all our players
