Bentaleb - The Algerian Zidane


You are aware that Lamela plays in a completely different position to Mason and Bentaleb?



What midfield? Is Lamelaa striker or a defender. I thought he played midfield, as do Bentaleb and Mason. Tell me different please cleverdick. And don`t tell me he plays out wide, he doesn`t.

Bentaleb has only been at Spurs since 2012, but excellent to see Mason and Kane there - proper academy products

Buddy I understand that. What I mean is Mason and Kane are 'proper' academy products, whereas Beltaleb had the majority of his footballing education elsewhere, so it's a bit different.

Hope Kane drops into MF to help out when we lose the ball or we could get over run

Yes but he was released from Lille as 15 year old then went to some rubbish Belgium team before we picked him up and put him in the under 17/18 team!!

I don't understand why people dislike Bentaleb. Still tainted by Sherwood?

I don't think so, he's hardly been fantastic but then I think some forget his only 20!
I think the usual over hype happened when he first started playing didn't help

But lost fewer games

Positives are that Bentaleb and Mason will get the ball and move it forwards quickly.

Negatives are that they could get bullied and we struggle to get into the game.
