Yes he's missed a lot of chances...BUT...we know he's a finisher in Spain. The rest of his play is great. It's not like finishing is any different in this league. He's in the right positions to get the chances...it can only be confidence. Stick with him I say

Because he is young, has talent and can be persevered with.

We aren't going to get top four so why not build a team. Let players make mistakes and improve.

But shouldn't he have improved by now, I mean how long does he need? If anything it looks like he's gone backwards since his bright start to the season. The 'young' excuse as well....there are many players his age and younger doing a lot more. Kane and Mason for a start.

Yeah he should have improved, but he has shown flashes of ability. Even in the game against Chelsea he created two or three good chances which is more than can be said for many other players.

Who thou....turns out 26 mil can't guarantee goals......so what feckin hope we got.

Kane has been dropped from games after scoring, and has ended up scoring in the next game he's in. Why can't Soldado do this?

So not starting the Chelsea game he suddenly forgot how to score again

Nowhere near enough flashes for my liking. From what I've seen of him lately he does more harm than good, giving away freekicks like candy.

Kane...has confidence...guy said how much he was buzzing after Everton game......surely just common sense to leave him in....!?!?

Yeah he does need to calm down. Trying too hard if anything.

Soldado scored 1 in 6 (5 started) no wonder Poch don't want to start him!

Look I have backed Soldado up until palace game but after missing 3 chances that any player should score from then the guy just doesn't warrant a place!

from what I see every week Poch just sends teams out with no tactics at all abit like go out and run about abit and see how we go and substitutions are shitte they dont improve the team at all in fact the opposite

Had to get lennon and Lamela on to try and create something!

Paulinho was shît and so was Soldado ( as was Townsend & Chadli tbf )

Walker was never going to finish the game

Maybe Poch needs the translator back.

You have to feel a bit for Poch.

Two of our centre backs look terrible.
We've been without our first choice right back.
Likes of Dembele, Paulinho are just meh.
Lamela is still overdoing it.
Soldado and Ade can't score for toffee.

That is why i'd prefer he just picked a team and really built towards next season.

A few players out in January. More out in the summer. But at least have a structure in place.

That is all I ask for this season.

I would say Poch's been quite fortunate in other respects though. In terms of luck/injury, we've had it far worse under other managers.

The only big injury we've suffered is Walker, and I'm not sure you'd consider him a key player.

We've generally had it good with refereeing decisions too e.g. red cards for Villa and Hull.
