We were good last night, I really enjoyed it.

Crowd up for it, positive football. Incisive passing and intent, not just ferrying it about laboured.

I'll say it again - I like us with a winger in there. Not ideal having Townsend right but he did his job well last night. Happy to go outside. Makes so much difference

Townsend was dreadful though, as usual. Is Lennon injured atm?

He failed a fitness test before the game (as did dier)

He was awful first half but still have us shape. Much better second half though

I'd probably keep that side for the weekend but with Lennon and Walker in for Townsend and Chiriches.

Rose was good I thought too, pleased for him.

Hard to drop Chadli or Eriksen, both good last night. I think Chadli is ready to push on and support Kane. I'd Luke to see him and Eriksen getting amongst it in that area and on the left, swapping it up.

I don't like the way Rose ends up in the striker position when the play is down the right wing!

I understand why he's there as Chadli tucks right in but it just leaves so much space if the play breaks down!

That's why I'd keep Stambouli in. Possibly Dembele instead. A bit more protection.

If Lennon starts there is no need for Walker being gung ho either. A nice disciplined game from him will do
