That was a truly awful performance, but the 3pts will come in handy. FFS how does Rose get anywhere near the First XI, he was a fecking nightmare all afternoon.

It's annoying how we promised so much in the first minute and delivered so little thereafter. I really thought we would go on to make it comfortable.
Call me fussy but that was a disappointing win.

If bentaleb scored when he went through it would of been imo
Some need to realise we are a average squad/team... We are a team rebuilding and will stay that way for a while yet!
Not sure about that Hengy, we played into their hands for most of the game, even though we took the lead twice.
It simply highlights the need for another goalscoring striker.
Spurtle
We need more than a striker... Decent CB and a better CM too
sandy,. he really is f ucking awful ain't he Danny Rose. Can't believe some spurs supporters actually wanted him starting. The guy comes back for 1 game and is a nightmare all game. We made that look hard as usual but 3 points is 3 points. Much better performance needed for united.
If Poch is 100% serious about being content to not bring anybody else in he must be deluded.
I think he was just saying that to appease Levy to be honest. He must want another few players of his own surely.
Don
Trouble is one bad egg, and the whole fecking defence have a mare. He was atrocious, he was constantly caught out of position, lunging in all the time, and kept clearing the ball straight to Leicester defenders. The rest of the defence were not much better, but Rose was stand-out appalling player.

The last two are a slightly lower priority but I agree.
Leicester were clearly the better team today, they won every 50/50 ball, passed the ball better, had all the best chances, could have had a pen or two, and frankly outplayed Spurs for the entire game, other than the first five minutes. I cannot believe how unfit Spurs looked, they were chasing shadows at times, and never won a single tackle. Very, very poor to get so comperehensively outplayed by a team that are bottom of the table and had lost 10 of their lasty 11 games.
Yeah if we'd put away our first half chances we would have been out of sight. And if Leicester had put away theirs we would have been 2 or 3-1 down. I'm not enjoying he way we keep winning when it's so undeserved, this team really does nothing to excite me anymore I barely even celebrated when Eriksen scored
Rose was the catalyst for a large percentage of their chances, he is decent going forward but utter shart in his own half, time and again he misplaces a pass, gets caught in possession and out of position.
Stambouli was poor and his replacement Mason even worse, that was a bad substitution.
Can not see us picking up many points in our next two games, our defence is still dodgy and we are unable to pass a football for 90 mins.
The facker was one careless lunge away from a pen. Rose and Kaboul have both been given a real chance under Poch and have failed to deliver. How many more chances before he gives up with them. Thank heavens for Kane and Eriksen.
im not suggesting our players are the greatest there not but we are a top 7 side with a top 7 squad a big gap between the rest of the prem. that needs to be clear.
i am also not suggesting to keep changing managers on a season by season basis.
the fact is again today poch played his way and did not deviate from it. we were attempting to push the wing backs up eventhough leicester were using the long ball completely counter productive. poch just does not seem to recognise that maybe we can try something else. only seen him change it once against everton to a 4-4-1-1but it was a defensive tactic and one i would suggest he changed to not get beaten heavily at that point in the game.
we won and thats brilliant stuff i will take it all day long and i am very very happy but we have half a season left to play we just cannot rely on doing that everyweek.

billy the y idd, is rose really decent going forward? that's what everyone keeps telling me but i never see this. I see a guy with a fat a ss with a bit of pace that can't cross and has the passing ability of a rocking horse. Davies is twice the player and although i weren't sure of Davies at the start he has now come in and made the position his own. Danny Rose should never start a game again in the league unless have no one else. Him and Naughton are a f ucking pair of donkeys
"we have half a season left to play we just cannot rely on doing that everyweek."
Doesn't have to be every week. Just against our rivals for a CL slot will do.
It's like we can't draw any confidence from scoring. If anything us scoring makes it easier for the opposition to come at us. We make scoring our achilles heel.

If only we could score winners when there is not enough time for the opposition to "come at us" ...
Lloris - 8 Happy birthday
Walker - 6.5
Fazio - 3.5
Verts - 4
Rose - 4
Bentaleb - 4.5
Stambouli - 4/Mason - 6
Chadli - 5.5
Eriksen - 7.5
Lamela - 5.5
Kane - 6
Soldado - 5.5

We make scoring our achilles heel to the way we play I should say, not the result.
Spurtle :
I can seriously see Pochettino topping AVBs' 2013 points total, but playing worse than last season.
It's possible R2. I have just checked and we're currently 3 points up on last season, and that would keep us in frame to challenge AVB's record.
If the luck dries up then we can start to rule that out. You can already say that luck pretty much accounts for the 4 to 6 points we got from the Villa and Hull games due to the sending offs.
Sendings off ain't luck. Both deserved to go. Neither appealed.
