Kane is not up to it at the moment and needs to be told to buck his ideas up. Lamela was poor today, lost the ball too many times. We were shocking today and deserved to lose - drawing games in the league should still not mask our performances still not really being up to scratch. I think we just need to accept that we will never be anything other than what we are.

We seem to create more when Rose plays, but that feels a bit clutching at straws.

I do get fed up with the way we play. I don't bash poch for the sake of it but change something get some urgency into this side. Shout at them or change the system don't just persist. We will never get stuffed but we will always go through the motions in a game. Predictable.

That being said look at the squad there's no one there for that bit of magic to change a game. Who can poch rely on if Kane is struggling and we get no set pieces for eriksen.

If I was a rival fan I would laugh at us. Arsenal buy the likes of Sanchez we buy two wingers and pretend their strikers and move a centre back into midfield to cover up our transfer deficiencys.

Your second paragraph was what I was going to say to defend Poch from your criticism in the first paragraph. Exactly, the manager is bereft of options. We should have got a striker in in the summer. Not getting one was bound to hurt us. We know this from experience. That new striker (Berahino) could have started today instead of N'Jie who was poor and looks like he's going to take a while to adjust.

Nah, we won't get anyone in Jan. That would suggest that Levy is learning from his mistakes which as we all know isn't going to happen.

Turns out Anderlecht are a much better team than anyone here seemed to think.
But I do agree, trippier aint ready for first team action.
And Kane needs a rest.

When are we going to get a manager with half a brain. The one thing I said earlier in the week, is that Anderlecht were not a pub team, and at the very least a full strength defence was needed. What does Poch do, changes the defence again. Now Poch will have to go full strength for the last three games just to get out of the group, and with games against Arsenal, West Ham and Chelsea coming up he really has fecked up again. He really does not seem to know how to handle these cup games.

So only trippier playing isn't first choice yet many on here would have him a head of walker.

Trippier was pretty much responsible for their second goal, woefully out of position. He ain't Walker's class ATM.

Last game both Rose and Walker started. So he changed the defence again, and tonight he has changed it again. Poch seems absolutely incapable of sticking to the same four defenders for more than one game.

I happen to think Davies is better than Rose, but Poch dropped him Saturday, then brings him back tonight. I just wish he would make his fecking mind up.

We need to beat Bournemouth and Aston Villa if we are to stand a chance of making the top four especially since we have Arsenal the following League game which is further opportunity to narrow the distance.

We'll create chances but have to make them count. Too wasteful during games and it always comes back to haunt us later on.

Chelsea losing, both Manchester teams playing eachother, Liverpool playing Soton. Good time to take 3 points... but when was the last time Spurs ever took advantage?
