According to the beeb eric dier said to poch as he was coming off "i'm fine gaff" but pochettino taking no chances. So hopefully he is fine

Both son and n'jie have both been injured and have not had a run of games so it's wrong to write them off in my opinion

decision to play Dier was silly imo, and looks like it has cost us

Didn't need to carry so Poch made the correct decision

Monaco have been very very poor but we have punished them everytime and rightly so. Would like Poch to take Toby and Son off at some point to give Chadli a run out. Give CCV a debut as well for good measure. COYS!

Let's be honest Monaco been very poor, prob worst performance by an away team at WHL this season.

Even Tom Carrol has looked a world beater tonight but looks generally looks lightweight in most games.

The disappointment at this scoreline in the voices of the former scouse mugs on BTsport is clear for all to see.

They really can not bring themselves to give Spurs or Lamela any sort of credit, everything is how poor Monaco are, they are so jealous and bitter. JJ is a top bloke.

We have Dembele or Alli (depending who plays in cm or am) and Eriksen who are shoe ins for two of the three attacking positions.

We then have Lamela, Son, Chadli, and Clinton fighting it out for the other position.
We at last have real quality in depth.

Son was outstanding v West Ham the other week. Great performance.

Been a hit and miss beginning for him - late move, a few games, quite a lengthy injury. Signs are there.

Without watching tonight, I'd like to see what both are doing without the ball. Is their pace and movement making room for others to exploit?

yes, but on the ball has been our worst player i would say.

i find playing dier in this game was so unnecessary i hope he isn't injured now.
