If Lamela was playing he would be solely to blame according to chicken

if we played a full team it would not have been a replay

Leicester created very little, they relied on set pieces and a lucky rebound shinned in off the post, I fancy us in the replay if Poch picks a strong team

What I found strange is how the Beeb commentators were constantly saying how good Leicester were, yet they spent 80% of the time trying to get the ball.

Their second goal should never have happened, we let him dance through & it took a rebound for him to score. Good perseverance though

I've seen Okazaki a few times now and he always looks lively. Shouldn't have scored but credit to him.

I think the best comment I heard about Leicester was how well organised defensively they are. OK, it's easier when you have 11 men behind the ball but they kept it tight and got the blocks in when they needed to.

I just hope it's a bit more open at their place.

Everywhere you go,

If Lamela was playing he would be solely to blame according to chicken

=================================================

If Lamela had played we would probably have lost that game...

If you want my honest opinion, I think Alderweireld was mostly to blame. He was uncharacteristically at fault for both their goals. The first was just school boy marking from a corner, and he totally got mugged by the drop of the shoulder for the second.

His (kind of) cult hero status will no doubt elude him from any blame on here though and fringe players / easy targets like Chadli or Son will no doubt be front line scapegoats...

I to fancy us to go through. Poch will probably have a stronger team out and Leicester will to but I just think we have more quality than Leicester. Win on Wednesday and knock them out the cup a week later. Lovely and hopefully knock arro off his perch

Think you're wrong there Chicken, for once most of the posters would agree Toby had a bit of a shocker last night. The post that summed it up best was someone saying Wimmer looked like the first team regular in comparison.

As for Chadli and Son being scapegoats, I would disagree. Most people understand they're coming back from injuries and it takes time. Son looked a lot sharper last night and showed glimpses of regaining his early season form. As for Chadli, he had a poor one but he spent most of the night trying to get through a parked bus. He still looks a long way off being back to his best though.

Vertonghen Groove,

Fair enough. I have already read Son being criticised once or twice so just came to that conclusion because of that.

I too thought Chadli did okay. I think he was a tad greedy at times but he showed good skills against a tight defence.

I dont think we are giving Leicester enough credit either. They were away from home and were very organised after they scored. They made it extremely difficult for us to even get a long range shot away.

Huge Huge game where 3 points is a must for us.
We know how Leicester will play, get everyone behind the ball and try and hit us on the break.
We really need to be creative tonight and also be a little more direct especially out wide.
