Its getting really boring now.

This is a professional football club.

If you cant handle two games in a week then that just shows the club isnt anywhere near competing for honours.

The answer however is NOT to throw games away in hope that it helps elsewhere because weve seen time and time again Spurs also struggle without Europa.

The Europs league isnt the cause of Fabianski having a blinder. Missing chances and them getting a goal off an initial deflection.

I think this is defo one of those days. Their goal was so facking lucky, and the keeper is playing so well. Ive seen this film time and again lol, if swansea get a second on the counter that will only make it worse

Today you can see the reason why Spurs haven't won the league foperverse 50 years. Presented with a gift wrapped opportunity to really push on, they are dominating the game, but squandering chance after chance, and then through some awful defending find themselves losing at home yet again.

i didn't put any argument forward in my post to throw games… people just have to finally accept that europa league has a detrimental effect on domestic campaign, whether rightly or wrongly. the evidence is plain in front everyones face year after year and i still get clowns telling me it doesn't exist. it does exist. professional or not. good side or not. whether right or wrong, its a real factor, not a made up thing.

for the record.. i am very much looking forward to the dortmund tie.

so why are we sluggishly missing good chances? players aint as sharp as they could be is the answer

If someone eats 3 icecreams a year and every time he ate an ice cream his neighbour had a car crash, would that mean he has caused them?

Use some common sense. You can see we are playing well, this could easily happen without europa. Correlation does not equal causation remember that

Let's have a bit of faith. This team very rarely loses games. I know it's easy to look at it as one of those days - missed chances galore and an opposition keeper in inspired form - but we have recovered from losing positions more than any other side.

We need to keep patient, keep creating chances, and avoid getting hit on the counter. If weren't creating anything, I'd be more worried. COYS.

If we win this today then I will believe we can win this league but if not then its the same old spurs for me

#true. Our home form needs to improve, but looks like another one of those days. On a side note, was u confident when Son was through on goal there? I don't think hes that good and all he does is smash it no accuracy

But i doubt youd be disappointed if we lost to Fiorentina. Which would have meant no exciting game against Dortmund on the cards.

Anyway, detrimental or not, thats football at a professional level. You either cope with it or you dont. And we typically dont.

That half though I feel like ive seen it 20 times before.

all that matters is the result. i don't care if we are playing barcelona off the pitch or not. its a results business. at the end of the day we have no excuses if we fail to beat this shiiiiit swansea side.

last week palace were bottom of the form league ffs.

sandy is right about his assessment of why we haven't won the league for so long… its because we just faaack things up too regularly.

i cannot believe that arsenal are at old trafford losing to a bunch of kids and shadow man u side.. and here we are at home to swansea doing our best to let them off.
