Doesn't change the fact it was embarrassing. Worst defeat of the season for us. We hadn't lost by more than 1 goal before tonight.

Should've just thrown the group games and offered free tickets. Pointless campaign if this is our selection policy when a big game comes up.

That's what I don't get. Why not just go weak v fiorentina. Or in the group ? We go strong all the way until we meet the big boys then go weak?? Don't understand it personally.

Full steam for the Prem. After Dembele, Dier and Alli we are weak as funk. Carroll and Mason are not good enough for where we want to be. Not young anymore and too weak. Both their places are upgradable.

When it gets to the knockouts poch doesn't know how to use squad properly. He facked it last season with the fiorentina ties and cup final. And this season he hasn't learnt. It's just Wierd. What a waste of time the fiorentina tie was. .....

I can only think Poch wanted to rest some players rather than throw the reserves into the deep end against European big boys.

I hope this was about the league.

Maybe Nabil Bentelab has regressed that bad that he is just not up too it?

Nerves seemed to get to the better of many of our young players tonight. Too many slips, lapses in concentration, poor ball retention and lack of drive or aggression. I think the atmosphere and the occasion left a few bewildered.

It's a young squad, that many of which will not of experienced playing teams and stadia like this before. It's a project what MP is building. No shame at all in tonight's defeat. Dortmund are no mugs and frankly I laughed at how some talked about them on here prior to the game. I have said for close on 5 years now the top teams of the bundesliga are superior to the premier league. Tonight that showed.

He has been shiite when he's played this season, needs to step up but may already be too late for him in Poch's eyes.
