Would rather see Janssen behind Kane than the opposite
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Me too. Kane would have scored that Janssen chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The way Kane's play I'm not so sure
At home to the likes of Palace I think Janssen and Kane should have both been up front personally
hengy
Yes thats his one good cross of the year out of the way now
Poch will never go from his 4231
No I doubt he ever will but we do need to have more variation IMO
Tbf the front four can pretty much move around everywhere.

He did alright today. It was such a good chance though, I expect Kane to put those away.
Another week training and hopefully we can go up a level as Liverpool will be tough
Missed that today, good job by the sound of it......nothing better than seeing that notification pop up at quarter to five

Could never do that. If I'm out I'm constantly checking
Thought Alli looked better today. Good to see Poch realise he was lacking and stuck him on the bench

Walker MOTM for me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seconded
Result was a bit of a relief. Better start than last season, but obviously not up and running on all cylinders yet. Haven`t seen the match, so not sure how it went, other than the fact I think Janssen missed a sitter, but even the best miss open goals.
Kane on form, not having scored in August in the Prem ever.
Janssen was excellent apart from that miss. Hold up play very good & ran the channels well.
Just needs a goal
Good performance from the back 4 + keeper, conceded very few chances.
Bit ropey when Cabaye initially came on.
So far Janssen is looking bright and lively but we were saying the same thing about Soldado when he first started with us.
He does need a goal and not one via a pen either.
Chicken seriously has got mental problems ain't he?
Decent performance by Spurs and thank goodness we scored in the end. It would have been a travesty if we hadn't won that match.
We look rusty at times, some heavy touches and mis placed passes but that is expected at this stage.
Janssen aside from his miss was superb, when we signed him i said on here we have signed a player who has a tremendous attitude and will to win.
As others have mentioned Walker was probably motm like he was at Everton last week. There isn't a better right back in the prem in my opinion.
Tough game next week against a very inconsistent Liverpool team who can be brilliant one game and awful the next.
Some clown pundit was criticizing Walker and praising Clyne. Clyne had a mare today
I watched parts of the match and fell asleep in other parts. Overall it was not a match filled with talent but rather a decent example of British hoof ball.
Spurs are going to need to raise the level of their game if they want to compete in the Chumpionship.
