Were you too not complaining after tuesday though? Regardless, losinng 2-1 in this manner is acceptable to you? Yes we have injuries but you can't have enjoyed that

Poch most definitely isn't the problem. The problem is the quality in the players and strength in the squad. One of the first things to look at is the recruitment over the summer.

no. the problem, is has been since i have been watching spurs, is the mentality, not the ability.

I know we haven't quite sorted the mentality out but it's gone up immeasurably since Poch came to the club. That's why we're so hard to beat, and don't capitulate anymore against the big teams.

The loss today was probably expected, but had we got more out of previous games that we kept on drawing when key players were out, the loss would be easier to take. Unfortunately nobody was stepping up in that period to get us those wins.

Not to sound harsh but weve looked shat since Dier got moved to CB and Wanyama took his DMF role.

I think you should compare how much money the other clubs we are competing against have got and how much they spend before you complain

grandspurs. i think that you are right in some of your things, but i cannot lie, its just SO disappointing. player value is irrelevant when we are talking about amateur level mistakes.

i don't care what anyone says, switching off just before half time is amateur level. conceding just after you score, due to totally switching off, like at monaco, is amateur level stuff.

its unacceptable.

Agreed but you argued like crazy when I said we dont have players with enough class at the moment.

Eriksen scores a great goal then hides and gives away the 2nd goal yet everybody will only remember the goal he scored.

Son everybody told me was great 5 games ago but he is not, today proved that.

You can go thru the entire team and criticise but at the end of the day we have a very hard working workmanlike team with very little ability and thats that

Today's performance was probably bar maybe city & Arsenal was our best.

Right being a midfield player and playing so well this season just tell me how many asists Wanyama has.

All I said (which is true) is that he worls hard and runs hard but is not actually that good a footballer and I think today proved that yet again

Second goal was more than Eriksen costing us.

Dembele & Dier on Costa wasn't good enough

Wimmer went in central without looking over shoulder

Son never tracked back

And agree about poch throwing away fa cup game last yr for Europa league then rested team in Europa and out of both we went

Look at it again Eriksen gave a ridiculous ball to Dembele cos he was scared of taking a whack and 20 seconds later the ball is in our net.

Yes the other players did not do well but it was not cos they were cowards that bottled it

Thats what I cant endure, mistake happen but no footballer at this level should bottle things

Wanyama should not be getting assists its not his job. And the whole attack has been poor for the whole season. I would like to mention dier's form has taken a nosedive this season and without wanyama we would be in even more trouble. Sandy is a donut but hes right about our squad has no strength in depth. Without our first 11, our team is poor. Squad players can never step up

Each goal had different players at fault.

First Dembele shouldn't have played the freekick so quickly (thus losing possession unnecessarily). When Matic passed the ball to Pedro, Dier was out of position and tried to get back into position rather than close Pedro down.

Second Eriksen played a bad, simple, pass. Then Costa wasn't defended well, Wimmer covered CB instead of being in his LB position, and Son did not track his man lazily.

Wanyama should not be getting assists its not his job

If you want to accept that its not a pro footballers job to be able to pass a ball 10/15 yards and retain possession for his team then you carry on.

If you want to look at Opta stats of yards covered or tackles made then be my guest but I look for a FOOTBALLER. One who can control a ball, pass a ball, cross a ball, shoot. In fact I look at what he does when he has got the ball and if he does not do enough I classify him as a poor footballer. Particularly when he conceeds so many free kicks within shooting range of our goal. Especially ridiculous free kicks like Wanyama, Son and Rose give away regularly

Yes Wanyama is an honest hard working player but ability wise he is average at the very best.

Tbh not bothered by the result it's the bounce back after that I'm worried about.
