On the flip side these are virtually the same players who also beat and played superbly against City at home.
Kane and Alli in particular have really improved since the Utd game (albeit against poor opposition) but none the less they are bang in form and I'm confident we will beat Chelsea on Wednesday

I wouldn't be happy with a point.

We are a different side when kane alli and eriksen are firing. Funny how they all either seem to be on or off togethor.

Good Evening Gents

Massive game coming up, both sides will be going all out for a win. Players, managers and fans will be fired up for this.

Tough game but i think we will win 2-1 or 3-2.

Been buzzing all day waiting for kick off. I really hope we take it to them from the off. We did that at the Bridge and for 45mins they couldn't handle us.

Be interesting to see how Poch lines us up, last time it was a 4-1-4-1 i think, will he stick with that or will we see the 3-5-2 like at the weekend?

Personally I'd go for the same formation as what Watfordish

Dembele for son but playing alongside Waynama with Eriksen free to roam with Alli & Kane close up top

Verts for Wimmer
Walker for trippier

have a feeling he will start with Sissoko instead of Son

Yea I think Sissoko & Dembele will play in a 4231 formation

Id be interested to see our results this season broken down as follows :

- back 4 with toby
- back 4 without toby
- wing backs with toby
- wing backs without toby

Obvs the results with toby will be much better.

I suspect thouh that results with wing backs are significantly better than back 4.

On that basis, I'd lean towards that system

How many games have you played 3 at the back this season, how has the manager evolved it in recent history?

Some would say we played it all last season with Dier dropping between the CBs all the time

Couldnt really say Walker and Rose were playing as wing backs though could you ?

Tbh I don't watch enough these days so I don't really know

I'm never quite sure about that, even if it looks it, the default positions just give a different mindset.

I'm wondering if the Watford game tactics was with one eye on this game and whether you'll go like for like. It has worked quite well against us but also backfired, such as Everton.

I would argue they play as wing backs every game. The reason to have a DM is so they can push high up

Look forward to seeing how your side impalement it

Usually associate it as being more compact, bottom half formation in the PL. What surprised me about how Conte has played it is how isolated Luiz looks at times with the wider of the three spiting quite far, the players seem well drilled to drop at the right times though. You seem to have the right defenders for it.
