I agree there was no need to change anything. Poch has obviously succumb to the pressure of a big game and felt he needed to change things up.

The Son at wing back is even more infuriating because Davies has done well. Also, dropping Walker weakens the defence. It has screwed our shape.

Fair enough if we're losing do something like this, but starting like this is just stupid.

Problem is if you take him off for Davies (what should happen) you lose him as a game changer. No one on bench to change game. When hazard comes on he is gonna have a facking field day unless we play a proper player in that position.

The section from poch was a joke and he's facked himself over

The change is wanyama off Davis on. Go to a back 4 push Dier into midfield and push Son forwards

Wanyama looks off the pace and we need to keep our attacking options on we need a goal

More likely that he wanted to play 3-4-3 but could man manage well enough to leave son out. So he show horned him in and it's been a ridiculous decision. Poch is great but nonsense like that will keep him away from being offered barca Job etc (good for us I suppose). Very very frustrated and knew it would be an issue as soon as I saw the line up
