We are the best team in the league but we need to learn (both as manager and players) how to transition that to cup competitions.

Just in the league then I disagree. We've had more injuries and less luck in general IMO, yet have played better and produced better results.

For me, the Son/Trippier wing backs cost us our usual defensive solidity.

Walker would have covered for that first goal, whilst the pen was totally due to Son being in an unfamiliar role.

I reckon we would have won had Walker and Davies started, we were the better team for long periods, but always looked vulnerable to the counter.

Trippier had a very good game.
It was Son that had the nightmare.
Although I can see that Poch didn't want to use Davies.
Why didn't Walker start?

Is this the first time weve conceded 4 under Poch?

Not you again.

Less defeats. No defeats at home. Only defeats to teams in the top 6 away. We're the team in form and are the best in the league right now, and if we hadn't suffered those injuries earlier in the season we would surely have beaten WBA and Bournemouth to close the gap.

Just hope the players don't lose their heads now.

Its been an awful couple of the days for the club and we need the players to be men, accept responsibility and make sure we don't suffer a collapse again.

Palace away in a few days then the NLD, I still expect Chelsea to win the title but we need to finish 2nd. Cmon Spurs don't let us down twice.

Yes, by and large Pochettino has been terrific. Many players stay with the club because of him.
But his choices in today's match must be seen as an aberration. Starting Son at LB? Yes Ben Davies ain't up to it, but why Son?
And why not start Walker? with Trippier on the the left?

If Davies wasn't fit, play trippier left and Walker right. Playing a forward at LWB wasn't smart. And dropping Walker unnecessary. Poch has been brilliant but I think he made mistakes that cost us today.
