Didn't see the match - where I live they showed Bayern Munich instead - a good demo of how to beat a team that tries to park the bus!
Spurs should watch Bayern me thinks

They parked the bus, we dominated but struggled to break them down, Mike Dean should've gone to Specsavers.

That's it in a nut shell.

Yeh poor team selection. Sissoko should never be starting a premier league game again. We can't win at Wembley in the league. I hate the place.

The starting XI was all wrong. The first half was abysmal. How long before Poch himself has to start taking some of the blame with his ridiculous team selections. Burnley and Swansea should have been givens with the right team put out from the start.

You have to ask yourself, why was Aurier not started, nor Dembele, nor Davies.

Aurier wasn't that great himself to be fair.

Team selection awful. Don't understand how sissoko gets so many minutes for us its a facking joke
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You'd think he wouldn't be starting if we had Wanyama fit but even so, he's not even great at filling in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
mate this is already his what, 3rd start this season? Also he is nearly always brought on whenever he is sub.

Bingo, if even one of those chances went in nobody would be saying we're already out of the title race ffs

Can anyone explain why an extra 5 meters of pitch makes such a difference to this team?

What's the point of llorente ffs

Hengy........he was only on for 15 minutes, hardly time to create an impact.

I was disappointed in Dele today, thought he was way off the pace and should have been substituted at half time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's the point of him if we aren't playing to his strengths.

Janssen would've got pelters for having 1 decent touch in 15 mins.

Wrong player for us

Caused more problems than both Trippier & Sissoko

dele is an untouchable now so even though son played far better, he was sacrificed instead. oh and then we don't pass to llorente when he comes on lol

He is fully shiiit, there's no getting round that.

Maybe he's doing well in training? There has to be a reason.

Have To agree with Sandy, not a fan of rotation for the sake of rotation.

Aurier deserved to stay in the team. Dembele should have started, rest him later if necessary.

Sissoko tried but has no creative side and alongside Dier means we have little opportunity to be creative!

He was alright in that capacity I but his crossing was rubbish.

Poch doesn`t seem to have much of a clue when it comes to subs to be fair. He should have changed things around at half time.

Genius, I agree, when have Spurs ever done well when they rotate. Time to rotate if players are really burnt out. But the team have had a great week, why disrupt the team.

He started the complete wrong XI. DEMBELE is one of our best players when we play the minows. And playing no LB is ridiculous as Davies is in good form too. Poor day for poch and the team

posted on 16/9/17

Trippier and Sissoko can only ever be players that come off the bench, they certainly should not be starting, especially now new additions have been brought.

Yep no rotation needed. Should've played team from Dortmund then rotated for Barnsley

Let's be honest, who wouldn't have thought the team we started was incapable of beating Swansea?

I'd be more critical of the way Poch adapted to the game when it wasn't working out.

posted on 16/9/17

Its all well and good to they second guessing Pochettino, but none of the know-it-all pundits on here know wot the injury/knock list was after Dortmund.
The team he put on the pitch had 75% possession. The odds of scoring with that are pretty damned high.
Dunno wot the extra 5 meters of pitch has to do with it, but it does look like we're a mid table team this season.

Disappointing from spurs yet again at wembley

no one cares about the dortmund result.

That was a "champions league" fixture

The hoodoo is very much here alive and real in the "premier league" and the "fa cup".

I think its fair to say goodbye to spurs premier league ambitions for this season because their biggest problem is overcoming this wemley HOODOO.

I sincerely hope the spurs fans acknowledge that this hoodoo is real and thay have got to find a way to defeat this hoodoo quickly.

Away form alone is not going to help you win the premier league title for their 1st time in their history.

i worry for spurs because the new white hart lane football pitch is expected to be the same size as wembley and they are struggling so badly at wembley - which will mean they will struggle at the new white hart lane.
