I like to think Kane works extra hard to prove his critics wrong. They must be running out of things to criticize him for, he has addressed all of them.

Yeah was gonna say August is the one thing they have on him! Though to be fair there's usually only 2 or 3 games in August. Probably a lot of strikers don't score in August.

They're still gimmes for footballers though most of the time.

If your goal tally is being counted next to someone else's and you don't take the pens and they do, I do think it's worth noting. At least with tap ins you have to be in the right place at the right time. Penalties don't require any good movement into a box. Just one kick against a keeper under no pressure from anyone.

We've not had much like buying strikers since what...Defoe...first time.

I have liked the look of llorente in his cameos. Good at holding the ball up. Reckon if Kane got injured and he had a run in the team he would do well
