Seems as though Zaha had a great game for Palace today. Would like to see us go for him in Jan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Personally I’d liked him but he’ll cost £50+m
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know if it will be that much. Might be nearer £40m. It's not like we're against spending that sort of money now. That's where the market is at anyway; players' values have gone up dramatically over this past year, and if Ox is worth £35m then Zaha would be good value at £40m.
Not many other wingers in better form, who we could realistically get.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There was rumours that when we went after Zaha in summer and saw the wage we was offering he told us no and signed his big contract at palace.
We offered him 35k.
Obviously rumours so don’t know if true but if it is we’ve probably burnt our bridges with him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well if we didn't feel like being stingy we could offer a lot more than that.
Sissoko is starting to do better but he's not great and that's an area that can be upgraded. We need a bit more pace in the team as well.

That was awful by Bournemouth. Thought they was different but just sat there with a back 5 with 4 in front.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's how every cuuuunt that rocks up at Wembley is gonna play it, with the exception of probably City, Liverpool and Arsenal. It's evident we struggle at Wembley against those tactics. Hopefully the more we play there the more we'll adapt. I really do think starting Son, Dele, Kane and Eriksen all together really limits us in changing it up when these teams frustrate us like that.
Still, in the end we won and Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea all dropped points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s why it’s good we are getting Lamela back imo. He’s probably the only other one to Eriksen that can pick a decent pass against those teams

Fack him then. If he'd rather stay at a two bob outfit like Palace for wages (as if £35k a week isn't enough to live on) instead of joining a CL club that has a new stadium on the horizon and one of the best young teams/managers in the league, then he obviously doesn't have an ambitious enough mentality. Will come home to roost because even with Palace's win today the chances are they'll still be relegated; that start is practically irreversible.

Tbf Palace was refusing to accept our lowball offers
Poch said it’s difficult for Davies to be back for Madrid
Good Evening Gents
Lets facking do this!!! Ive been buzzing all day waiting for this game, it will be a serious test for us to see how we fair against one of Europe's best.
I see it being a close affair, my heart says we win 2-1 but my head says 1-1 or 2-2. I'm a glass half full sort of fella

under 19s 1-1. Real Madrid just equalised. My mate's son George Marsh is in the XI (my claim to fame and Marcus Edwards is captain
Hello FBK
Looking forward to it - or has trepidation set in yet?

i feel confident of a decent performance but results seem to desert us in most big games, despite good play.
I also suspect we'll see the ugly side of Real....intimidation of the ref, play acting with every little touch, and it will be a classic European ref who will be wearing the white of RM under his blacks.

I was talking about this at work today, if we got a little bit physical we would have a better chance, but you cant in the CL - so we have to outplay them
As said in many threads, the pressure isnt on us, so we just need to turn up and have a go - they arent gods, and we have a team of young fearless players, so bring it on.
Line up is odd. Not impressed
