It's the same performance we saw against Swansea, Bournemouth, Burnley, Palace. Just replace the good chance those teams had to score in the first half for a goal.

Spurtle, I agree mate. We were never in the title race anyway. The club and this team just doesn't have the minerals to win the league. We are still weak mentally as a club and until we resolve it, we will always be nearly men without actually achieving anything

Shame Lamela is unavailable, he'd give Alli some competition for his place.

Yep players have obviously given up on title and that hasn’t happened till May last 2 seasons.

Don, I wouldn't say we don't have the minerals. We got to 86 points last season and that's good enough to win the league in a lot of seasons. This season it's City's to lose, regardless of how we do, but we knew it was going to be harder for us having Wembley and it's being proven to be true.

The thing is we are so predictable, every game we play the same way, the opposition manager knows what to expect from us. It would be nice from time to time if Poch does the unexpected and plays maybe 2 up front or a pacey winger (Nkoudou) etc

Well Poch needs to change things IMO we now have two holding midfield players against a team that will sit in their own half for 45 minutes.

This is where we really do need an outright wide player

I think it goes to show how Wembley is effecting us. We had no problem with teams like this last season, even if they did want to pack the defence.

last season we had two full backs that got up and down the pitch at pace giving us that wide option.

This season we have two full backs who dont have the pace to get forward quickly enough

Quite possibly. They've looked more up for the CL than in any other competition. No doubt they will feel that's the best chance of success now.

If we lose this today, that's 3 premier league losses out of 4. Extremely poor showing this.

There is still a long way to go yet in this game but we do have to change our approach for sure

Yeah, the lack of width from pacy overlapping wing backs and creative midfielders makes it extremely difficult for us against packed determined well organised defensive setups.

grand, we had the 2 same full backs for like the last part of last season and it didn't change us. Mind you we don't have much problem against some of the bigger teams here, so maybe it says as much about the opposition coming here to Wembley.
