Emmanuel Adebayor is playing with a problem that requires regular treatment as Tottenham try to ensure the striker is available for the run-in.
Adebayor suffered a dead leg in the 1-1 draw at Hull on February 1 but has continued to play since, scoring three goals in the two games to help Spurs to wins over Everton and Newcastle.

Yet Adebayor’s condition is being managed carefully, and Standard Sport understands the 29-year-old has now started to experience pain in his hamstring. He was left out of the squad for last night’s Europa League tie against Dnipro in Ukraine, which Tottenham lost 1-0 ahead of next week’s second leg at White Hart Lane.

Adebayor scoring freely is very welcome to us all but is this just a new coach syndrome? Remember when Boas arrived Defoe scored freely but then tailed off to something nearer normal and I'm a bit concerned it might happen in this instance. Yes I know Defoe was record scorer or something but that point is irrelevant to my point here.

As long as he keeps it up until the end of the season, I don't mind

I think a draw today is a likely outcome. Spurs have struggled after Europa games.

Beat Swansea, Hull and Cardiff 1-0. Lost to Arsenal, lost 3-0 to West Ham. Lost to Newcastle. Drew with United. Thrashed by Liverpool.

Although it could be a 1-0 that you've managed to battle to against similar strength opponents to Norwich.

The Europa hangover is a concern to all of us I think but with Norwich's recent bad form and Spurs' recent good form in the Premier and with Norwich's injuries I think Spurs will be too strong for them. Hughton is under enormous pressure and it might show. An opening Spurs goal will mean curtains.

A win for Spurs and a loss for Liverpool will mean level points and just seven from the top.

However a loss for Spurs and a win for Liverpool will mean Spurs six behind Liverpool and Liverpool only four off the top. Important games today.

Agreed Topper just as much as they know that if they fack up Spurs are four points behind but they already have the points bagged so my argument is a bit pointless. But I see signs of Chelsea and City slowing down but not Arsenal now.

I thought that they played well enough against Bayern to get something out of the match and as we know they crushed Sunderland yesterday. People talk about their normal bottle job but they ended last season strongly and look like doing the same again. I'd like to see what will happen if Chelsea ever go one nil down as they're struggling to find the net since Mata's departure and City have gone to pot. 1-0 v Stoke? Not impressive at all. Go along quietly Spurs. Let's see what Liverpool do today, a big win I hope not for.

5th is the highest we will get IMO but that's pretty good considering the season we've had

The Europe League is obviously playing a big part considering the form after games I showed earlier. However it also showed that you beat the weaker sides, you only struggle against some of the better sides. That could change if you meet them on non-Europa weeks.

Sturridge missed some good chances against Arsenal but even if he loses his touch I cannot see Liverpool losing today.
