Sorry mate but its fact we looked the worst today that we have all season and Wanyama looked one of our worst players just what does that say about him?
Ledders
I do my best
I think this thread is pretty funny!
I would just take a deep breath and write this match off as "English Footy on a shutaweful pitch" and wait to form an opinion on the players until our next serious match.

So because Waynama played its his fault everyone played shiet?
Oh btw we looked no worse than we did V Southampton and Waynama never started that game.
Last season proved Waynama is good enough for us a absolute fact
In your opinion he was ok in mine he was not.
No I am not blaming him for the entire afternoon I am saying it highlighted how bad a footballer he is. Try reading more carefully.
So out of our starting 11 today put them in order with the worst getting a 1 and the best getting 11.
If you place Wanyama on more than 3 or 4 I would suggest you watch the next game with your eyes open.
As for comparing things to the Southampton game its hardly an equal measure is it. A premier team and we got a draw and a Div 2 team and we got a draw. Come on be serious.
There was 3 ( main squad ) players not good enough and that Trippier, Sissoko & Llorente.
Sooner we stop playing Llorente the better. I’d rather dip into the youth team and promote Sterling. At least he’ll put himself about and contribute to the attack. Llorente is lazy and unsuitable for us as I said the day we got him.

I done my ratings earlier. My issue isn’t with your opinion on THIS performance it’s the not good enough to be in our starting X1
Only player to get any credit today is Son
Wanyama was awful but he’s been out all season ffs and was great last season .
I would agree on Llorente but he is not supposed to be protecting us from conceeding a goal is he?
Anyway back to my previous point how you can expect an attack to score when you have Wanyama and Sissoko providing or not providing the ammo is ridiculous.
They could have had 3 first half and Wanyama was a major part of that. No I am not blaming him completely but he definitely did not help the cause one little bit cos he cannot paly football. His touch is crap, he cant pass, he cant shoot to save his life he is just a big lump that gets in the way.
If thats a footballer in your eyes then so be it but to me a footballer who cannot pass 10 yards is a crap footballer and thats that, if I wanted to watch a display of strength I would watch sumo wrestling.
His last real contribution before he got injured was to give chelsea 3 points and today he started where he left off.
Llorente is awful for us. Not basing that on today as again I didn’t watch the game, the absolute opposite of what we need, didn’t think we could get it even more wrong than we did with Janssen.
Llorente has been awful I cant argue with that but he is a back up at most Wanyama is supposed to be a first team player, thats the difference

I wont get drawn into a conversation with you I am sticking to football thanks stupidity will have to be saved for another day.
Now the adults are talking so leave me and hengy to argue thanks
Llorente has been poor but we don’t play to his strengths at all. When we signed him I thought he would do a lot better than he has to be fair. Looks a shadow of the striker at Swansea last season
I get your point in regards to Wanyama. He’s a good player, but not necessarily a good footballer. As in his use of the ball. To be fair the lack of ‘footballers’ in our midfield does irritate me. Would happily pay £40m or whatever to get someone in there who can use the ball better than our current options.

40 pence would probably get you better use of the ball than Wanyama and Sissoko

We shouldn’t be changing our game to suit some target man so he should have never have been signed. Not having this work off the big man tactics from a prehistoric era at our club. Swansea are a basic team with basic players, hence why Llorente fitted in
Ledders to be honest it was always going to be difficult to sign a back up for Kane what half decent striker would even consider coming to Spurs with Kane in front of him?

Llorente is the worse striker Spurs have ever had. Total waste of a space. Kane looked well pisssssed off having to play alongside him. Llorente should never be given another match in a Spurs shirt, he is that bad.
Vorm up front would be a better option.

Kane is going to get injured sometime. And he does need a rest given the schedule we have. A decent backup would have given Kane a rest today.

Agreed but no decent striker is going to sign in the hope he will get some games thats how we ended up with a second rate striker in his last couple of seasons
wow pool out thats a shame
You’re right, it’s not an easy job but at least look for someone that fits the style of play. Not as if we’re the only club in Europe that has a quality player in a position yet have to buy someone else, it’s how you proposition it to the player. Real Madrid managed to get Asensio to join them, pretty sure they didn’t say to him “you’ll only play cup games because we’ve got Ronaldo, Bale, Isco etc ahead of you....”
Ledders
No they probably said we will pay you £200'000 a week which we cant do
