It's no coincidence that under Levy we're the only team in PL history to not spend anything in a window. If you didn't know that and were to pick a chairman where that would happen, you'd automatically pick Levy because you know what his reputation is like.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
thats an aside though. the simple facts are that there is so much talent in the squad,... and our performances largely since January have been a disgrace. investment or not

Sandy ...it IS basically Levy's fault.
We are not privy to what has gone on for two years...but not buying any players in the season before in now coming home to roost.
Clearly the spirit has gone our of the club and its a shambles.
I doubt a new manager will turn it around in a week or two.
Next thing will be the defections by the key players.
Just watch it all fall apart!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry mate, this is all down to the manager.
Change the manager, and you will see performances improve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like United did with Solskjaer for a moment?

Poch or someone else, this club isn't going to go much further with Baldy in charge.

So true, we have the best manager we`ve had in decades but owners that fail to back him properly and let 4 of our best players contract situations turn into a farce

What talent? We are over rating some of our players. Kane and Son have been inconsistent. Eriksen wants to leave. Alderweireld wants to leave. Dele has been pathetic. Vertonghen seemingly wants to leave. Aurier wants to leave. Rose wants to leave.
Pointless having players who can hit a great peak if they are inconsistent or uninterested. The summer of no investment seriously drained the club.
And we've hardly invested this summer. You can go on about Ndombele but thats only great by our own low standard. Leicester and Everton have shelled out £40m+ on players casually too.
It ultimately stems from Levy which has caused frustrating in Pochettino. Contracts unmanaged with players and ends up to where we are.
Pochettino has absolutely taken the team to its limits with CL final. What more do we want him to do with little investment?

Yeah we know Poch is to blame too but the whole club needs to look at itself and the way we approach things. After the bad form at the end of last season and the CL final loss, we should have been right on it early on in the transfer window and we weren't. There's no way Poch could have been completely happy even with some of his targets met, and we know he wasn't from his comments.

Agree, there is lots of talent, just being so badly managed. I watched them just strolling around tonight, with Pochettino standing on the touchline with his arms folded. Absolutely useless.
Basically Levy's approach has taken away the immediate future of our players and manager. Most would have been fine sticking around until we got a new stadium with the hope of fully kicking on from there.
CL final. New stadium and training ground and big investments on the field to show ambition. Besides the infrastructure weve looked laboured in the market.
Players have little hope of it changing and will ultimately view their time as a waste. So looking for a move ASAP. Let the rebuild happen with other players.

this argument would stand up if he didn't make ridiculous team selections / subs and show some good in game management.... but he doesn't.
so many semi finals and finals he has just got it wrong with the team and subs and set ups.
im not poch out, yet, but at the moment he needs to have a long hard look at himself
You just know the media now are going to rev up the Poch to United link and we'll have to hear about it endlessly.
What a bad time to be a Spurs fan this is.

Of course they will. He is easily better than Ole, and he'll receive more backing than he gets at Spurs from the board, and fans.
