I think the belief collapsed with the loss of the CL. They must have felt they'd never get that chance again. Both the players and manager have taken their eyes off the ball and have made mistakes that have cost us so far this season as a result.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And it would have come back if we'd invested properly in the squad instead of going through transfer windows that feel like someone is using sand paper on your balls
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. We didn't act with enough intent in the summer. You can't keep cutting corners all the time but it's all Levy ever does.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Losing Poch and getting a new manager is like applying band aid to a shotgun hole.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think things will have to get a lot worse before Levy fires Poch. It will cost him a fortune and he would have to back the new manager. If Poch can win the next few games which are all winnable then his job should be safe till the next aweful rest. Unless Poch walks of course

CL final was the hope our club needed. But we lost it and then failed to get rid of players we didnt want and failed to buy all the players we needed. Simple. But people will blame manager because they are the easiest to replace. Not the team of 11 or club owner

If poch goes itll be at end of the season. Hopefully this meeting is the players getting the bollocking they have due. So many problems with the squad. Only really performers were Sissoko today although I think Ndombele and Son had better first halves.

Wtf has happened to Dele really is one the mysteries of the century. Lucas not getting in the first XI. Full back areas not improving. Both absolutely inexcusable.

2 must win league games coming up next before away games against the merseysiders, one of which could be ugly on current showings.

As for blaming Levy and investment thats ridiculous. We still have far better players than the likes of Burnley but I doubt they would have conceeded 7 goals like we did today.

I would say that the players AND Poch have to take a look at themselves because they are both to blame.

Why was Walker dropped when he wanted to go but Eriksen not? Either Poch applies one rule to all or does not apply it at all.

Why did Poch shoot his mouth off just before the CL final about he might leave? He was quick to punish the likes of Walker, Rose and Toby for doing it then does exactly the same himself.

Poch also makes sure he stirs the pot when the rumours of him and other clubs surface so for all those that are blindly supporting him he is far from blameless in these situations.

Whole team performance was good first half, first 30 mins we were fantastic. Conceded some very gokd goals. The mentality and discipline of the team is pathetic though.

Or maybe just some players with a bit of heart instead of overpaid osers that actually care about the club and not just their wage packets

I should have stayed in New York and got into NFL and supported NYFC.

Speaking of which I'm looking forward to a dodgy article from my man diamond in the morning

It also has a lot of fans that make excuses for both players and the manager and think that a bottomless pit of a bank account is the answer to everything

Bottomless pit? Everton and Leicester spend more than us. Stop chatting rubbish. There have been plenty of opportunities to invest and at the right time. We have failed because things were good and Levy wanted it to continue without spending.

Now we might need to spend and only to bring us back to where we were instead of serious improvement.

We've sadly turned quickly into the Arsenal under Wenger that went 10 years without a trophy, in the space of 4 years. That's not to say we haven't gone longer than that without a trophy, but we went from almost winning a title, then almost winning the CL, to then getting hammered by Bayern in Europe, all the while getting into the top 4. The next step in our Arsenal imitation will be missing out on top 4. Can't wait!

No idea. But I assumed when we sold trippier then the club actually had something resembling a plan.
