They've presumably deemed him worth the risk despite the underlying issue. Which reflects badly on the medical team but still isn't the player's fault. When he pulls himself out of the team he gets slated by the manager in the press, so what's he supposed to do

Seen countless times you saying hes played awful when hes been one of the shining lights.

He hasnt been fit since hes joined. Quality wise hes head and shoulders above anyone else in our midfield.
