Last time we were this bad, under Sherwood, you could at least rely on some cracking, unpredictable games. And there was always a sense of trying to win matches and attack. He just got lost in his own arrogance and tried too hard to be quirky and eccentric - Eriksen and Holtby in the centre of midfield in a 4-4-2; Fryers and Sandro at the back!
Mourinho inherited a crumbling team which hadn't been performing well since around January 2019, but after an initial bounce it's been pretty dire since then. Aside from the Man City game, and a decent-ish performance against Liverpool, I can't think of many games to excite the senses.
We're going through the motions and look so directionless and disjointed. We have too many players out of form - Alli, Son, Winks; too many players past their best (Lloris, Jan, Toby), and too many players who try hard but are limited (Aurier, Sissoko, arguably Davies).
Lo Celso is not Eriksen yet. He's too inconsistent and doesn't influence games enough. Ndombele and Sessegnon clearly haven't impressed Poch or Jose, but it feels like we need something. Some kind of plan. Something different.
The cost of the team on the bench cost us pretty much the same as the first team, if you take in to account Gedsons to buy fee. Were atrocious.

Better at defending
Don must want jose sacked for bringing on a useless dud, right Donald?
Would nothing more than to see Ndombele eat my words. Prove me wrong Tanguy, change the game.

Serious question:
Why are 90% of spurs fans so against giving Mourinho a summer, a proper transfer window and pre season, and then a full term in charge before judging?
Do you lot not realise you were 14th before he come in? Spurs have been very poor for a long time now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think most feel he's past it and only a short term option anyway. I don't feel it's unrealistic though to expect some sort of improvement this many months on from him being here, even without his own players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seemed like you were hiring public enemy number one after sacking a fans favourite.
I like Spurs, would love to see you back in the big time and challenging for titles. From an outsiders perspective I thought hiring Mourinho was a masterstroke.
Might not be what he was, but you can count on one hand the amount of better managers out there.
Still a game you'll win imo, one break is all you need, they will crumple if you score
I hate these officials so much

You wanted Jose sacked the moment he arrived. You get no say on this boy. Was on his back the moment he arrived. Pathetic. At least I have actually given Ndombele a chance before slating him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah nothing to do with the objectively awful football
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are playing awful football a while before he arrived.
Blokes won more than your entire club and you want him out before he’s even got started?
Pathetic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A lot of Spurs fans on here have had an agenda right from the start mate. So it’s no surprise, they wanted him
Out the moment he was appointed. We are a shocking average football team before Mourinho.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed Surely there is an underlying issue here and its the players. Perhaps Mourinho sets up this way cause he knows how physically and mentally weak this team is. Half of them could not tackle their dinner.
I would expect more to be created with those subs.

United squad was gash mate and he still won trophies.
Think he managed quite well, but his transfers there were shocking. That was the biggest surprise for me.
Was only 5/6 years ago he won the league again with Chelsea.
