Even if we win today, all I see is the same boring approach to a game from Jose and these players. Sitting back, inviting pressure, letting them dominate possession and then hope to hit them with a long ball on the break. We’re not going to win anything like that, and more importantly for me, it’s going to be another year where watching spurs doesn’t count as entertainment, just 2 hours of boredom. Maybe I’m overreacting after 45 mins of the season but this is Jose, this is how he plays, so I don’t see anything changing

I think our issue is that we don't have a very strong "spine" anymore.

Don’t see any point of PEH and winks.... surely the point of signing PEH was to allow NDombele or a GLC Type to get on the ball and play

Winks and Horbjerg in the middle is a combo for lacklustre and backward football. These two combined like that won't scare any team in the league!

GLC injured!

NDombele played 45 mins in pre season.

Winks is having one of those days where he lacks any sort of urgency or willingness to take a risk. Sadly these sort of performances outnumber the ones where he makes things happen.

This style of play will not win us anything. Just because Jose won trophies, doesn't automatically mean he wins them here.
